Headaches
Many headaches have contributors in the neck and upper back. We assess these relationships carefully and individually.
The chain behind headaches
Many headaches begin below the skull. Forward-head posture from a stiff mid-back or hips overloads the upper-neck joints and the nerves that refer pain up into the head. We assess posture, jaw and upper-neck mechanics to find the pattern feeding them.
It all runs through one system: your nervous system reads the chain of fascia, muscles and ligaments and decides how you move, brace and feel pain. Change the input, and the output changes.
We don't guess. In your visit we test movement, strength and how your nervous system is loading the whole chain — foot to skull — to uncover the weak areas and determine the true root of the issue. Then we build your plan around exactly what we find.
With headaches, where it shows up isn't always where it starts.
Many headaches are driven from below. The upper neck, jaw and shoulder muscles feed directly into the pain-processing centers of the head — calm the chain and the head often follows.
Assessment & treatment paths
These connections are starting points for discussion — not guaranteed diagnoses. Your plan is always built from an individual assessment.
